About the Project
The Happy Chicken Project, supported by the HGKaplan Foundation, is a multi functional project, with the goal of enriching communities and providing a space for children to learn valuable life skills. It was created to provide both nutritional support and vocational training to underprivileged children and youth in Thailand. By raising egg-laying chickens, participants gained hands-on experience in animal care and created a sustainable source of income through egg sales. Here, children are provided with a safe space to learn and grow, to create brighter futures for themselves and those around them.
With construction completed, the project continues to thrive under the care of the Duang Prateep Foundation, serving as a model of sustainability, empowerment, and practical education.
