The HGKaplan Foundation works with multiple schools across Uganda, providing a range of support from construction of classroom blocks, wash rooms, renovations of earlier blocks, rain water harvesting and storage tanks, school uniforms, and library/reading books, schools feeding programs, sports equiptment etc.

Across most of the rural schools in Uganda, parents are not able to provide food to their school going children. In most cases, children would stay hungry the entire day, and only go home to have one evening meal. Hunger while at school cannot allow these children to concentrate in class, hence poor class performance and dropout of schools.

HGKaplan makes sure that these children have everything they need to thrive in a learning environment. Future plans are in place to create a community library, along with continued support to enrich the community and environment for these beautiful children of Uganda.
